I did not take him for granted. He was never the healthiest man but I thought I had another 5 years before I’d have to say goodbye. I thought he could see me get to where I really want to be in life, but I know he was proud anyway. Tomorrow/ later today is his funeral and I’m not good at funerals. His wife fully approved of his affection for me, they chose to never have children, but they were certainly capable of loving. I’ll stop bitching now, it has gotta be a giant turn off. Oh and on the very next day my father in law had a heart attack and he has always been a healthy man. He is stable, luckily.

The funeral is 1.5 hrs away at noon and it is already 4:10am I’ve been able to get to sleep around 9:30am most days so there may be no sleep at all.
