journal update
Caroline came the day after I got home from LA. She stayed until Friday. I shot a bunch of customs with her but we didn’t get to shoot anything else. It seems that me operating on all cylinders with a temp of 96 for more than just a few hours isn’t possible right now. I collapsed sobbing one day and almost lost my mind another. Luckily I’ve known Caroline for years and consider her a friend so I didn’t want to blow my brains out for a stranger seeing me- well, so weak to be honest
. I won’t bore you with all of the details but for instance we had a bonfire one night and the mosquitos were bad and we all had bites but mine just from scratching a little through pants welted up and turned purple. It looked (and looks) like I had been beaten above my knees, even on my rear end and then blotchy bruiser rashes everywhere is how I can put it. I’m not much of a bruiser usually. Anyway, blah, blah, blah I see a thyroid specialist August 30 and will start the process of making my core body temp go back up to normal so all cylinders can operate fully. It seems like a life time away but I’m looking forward to feeling like myself. This has been horrible. Boy I’ll never take being healthy for granted again. All this and trying to get things done at both houses. Grrr. Poor Tony, he got fairly used to me being a fully functioning+ more human being for a while there. He fell in love with a super independent didn’t need anyone for anything solid kind of woman and I’m not that right now :/. Ugh, life.
The future is near tho!!
Anyway, I’m behind on emails this weekend but things will continue per the usual here at borntobebound. No worries!
