JOURNAL UPDATE

I decided to get with the times and I’m now exporting video at:

HD 720/60p
1280 x 720 Mbit/sec

It isn’t the HIGHEST quality but it is some form of low HD, lol…I’m not all that exporting savy. Personally I hate trying to download a video and seeing that it is going to take all day to get it done, so from a personal standpoint I haven’t wanted to go HD. Idon’t mind watching stuff in a smaller box and not full screen, but I’m also not really into big televisions. Also it takes sooooo long to upload it and to export it while editing and I do it all myself. Anyway, no one has ever asked me to start exporting at a higher quality (aside from Ashley Renee since she just started to post HD) but I’d rather do it before someone asks me to. IF I only did one unique update a week I wouldn’t mind making them really high quality, but with three unique updates, it would just be soooo time consuming for me AND for you if I made it any more high quality, lol. The new Ashley Renee video was exported at a higher quality than the Carissa video.  Can you tell the difference???????

On another note, it has been really rainy here…There has been just a little bit of rain seeping in through old windows at our studio that I knew we needed to replace with glass block, but we haven’t gotten to it since we are still in the demo process of the basement. We left the studio late last night and everything was ok.

This afternoon when we got back there to meet with someone that is doing some drywall work for us and walked down the stairs to the basement it was flooded- approximately 3500 sq ft, up to the seat of the toilet (nonworking toilets that are turned of, thankfully)! This is sewer back up and NOT water from the leaky windows. LUCKILY only a huge kerosene heater was down there and got ruined, so I didn’t lose anything of major value, but of course we had to go buy a bunch of stuff to get the water out and will need to have a new sump pump and some sort of backflow prevention and the far side of the basement is filled up with junk that the previous owner left, and now it is going to be extra nasty. Luckily all of the electrical outlets are up at about 4 feet so none of those were submerged.

I know a lot of people in the area have flooded basements tonight. There were three other people at the hardware store buying pumps while we were there and many people lost a lot more valuable things than just a heater. I’m still feeling sorry for myself. This puts us behind schedule and is still really costly to fix.

However we decided to make a bondage clip, may as well make the best of the situation right? Tony bought waders and tall rubber boots so he could go down there and install the pump and he tied me up and put me in a rubber boat…Ummm I was horrified that the boat might tip. Luckily only my feet, rear end and back got a bit wet and I did not tip over! It doesn’t seem like dirty sewer water but there is a ton of industrial chemical stuff left from the previous owner and the kerosene from our heater and just old nasty filth so it’s still not good. I took lots of vitamins tonight! Of course the lighting is not the best, we weren’t going to plug anything in down there, but it isn’t horrible. Oh yes..the  my hair has gotten a bit lighter-

Happy Wednesday everyone.

Dont you worry about the quality of your videos, they´re good enough for me 🙂 I find that when they are too high a quality my computer cant cope with it and the vid keeps freezing. So you stick with your “low” HD. Gagged kisses, Richard xxx
